At first glance, our weighted blanket looks just like a regular duvet, but it differs in two key ways:
- It’s heavier. You’ve probably already read that our weighted blanket comes in various weight options (5-13 kg). The weight comes from tiny, silent glass beads (0.8mm in diameter) evenly distributed throughout the blanket. This added weight calms the body, reduces stress, and improves sleep quality.
- It’s 100% vegan. This means it does not contain down or feathers, unlike most regular duvets. Instead, our weighted blanket consists of 7 layers. The outer layer is made from 100% OEKO-TEX certified cotton, while the middle layers contain polyester fibers, making the blanket soft and warm. The inner layer holds the tiny glass beads that provide the weight.
We have deliberately avoided down and feathers to prevent overheating. Because of this, the blanket may feel thinner and less “fluffy” than a traditional duvet—but instead, it offers all the positive effects described above.

In general, we recommend that the blanket weighs 8-12% of body weight for adults and 12-25% for children. This is where the blanket has the most positive effect on sleep.

- If you weigh under 55 kg: We recommend the 5 kg blanket
- If you weigh between 55-80 kg: We recommend the 7 kg blanket
- If you weigh over 80 kg: We recommend the 9 kg blanket

- If the child is under 5 years old: We recommend our 3 kg / 100x140 cm blanket
- If the child is over 5 years old: We recommend our 5 kg / 140x200 cm blanket

Our weighted blanket falls in the middle of the warmth scale, making it suitable for year-round use for most people. Some customers who tend to feel extra cold during winter mention that they layer their regular duvet over it for added warmth, and that this works really well.

The weighted blanket does not come with a cover, but you can purchase one on the product page for €69 for adults or €59 for children (save €15).
Our cover is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, designed to fit the weighted blanket perfectly. It features a smart tie system that allows you to securely attach the cover to the blanket, preventing it from shifting inside.

You can absolutely use your own cover as long as the size fits. Our blankets come in standard sizes:
- 140x200 cm for our regular weighted blanket
- 140x220 cm for our extra-long weighted blanket
- 100x140 cm for our children's weighted blanket

Yes, absolutely. Our weighted blanket can be washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle. It should not be tumble dried, ironed, or dry cleaned and must be hung to dry immediately after washing.
Our cover can be washed at a maximum of 40°C, turned inside out, on a gentle cycle.

Questions about the sleep guarantee and returns
The 30-night sleep guarantee works as a trial period. This allows you to try the product at home, risk-free. If you find that the product isn’t the right fit for you within the guarantee period, you have the option to return it and receive a full refund.

Once we have received the product at our warehouse (or proof of shipment), the corresponding amount will be refunded to the payment card you used to complete the order.
We do not offer pick-up or delivery of goods at our warehouse or office at this time.
